Even fewer read an actual novel, and the trend is looking worse still for teenagers.

"Down Bottom" was on track to be one of the biggest songs of 1999 until they dropped the video and it featured Yung Wun instead of Juvenile. It was still a MONSTER record but not having Juvy (who was scorching hot at the time) in the video was a gigantic L.

@pameladubsky49 Fair enough! I’m not sure what this has to do with my argument (that the Dems usually don’t attempt to reverse policy overreaches by the GOP the way the GOP kills theirs; and that it is very optimistic to assume that Dems would get enough of a majority to do so anyway).

I hate to throw shade on the governor of my beloved Land of Lincoln, but what Democrsts needed to do was not lose in 2024. The damage is already done as far as decimating the federal workforce/deregulating industries, which no Democrat will entertain reversing line by line.
