Top Gun Maverick showed the enemy as a 'rogue nation' Its symbols & colour scheme of uniforms was neutral and vague. Paramount imo did this because it did not want to lose business in key international markets. Top Gun was fiction We can't show recorded history only WAAH 👏

@justnaddem @CultureCrave If you get a chance listen to the audio book. It's really well narrated and I think it does a great job explaining a lot of the questions you had that the movie didnt really expand into.

@justnaddem @CultureCrave They show the habitat the Eridians built for him in the movie. Explaining it would’ve just added more time to a 2.5+hr movie. The food, while not mentioned in the movie is inconsequential to the main story.
