The Carney Liberals did not win a majority government through a general election or today's by-elections. Instead, it was won through backroom deals with politicians who betrayed the people who voted for them. While the Prime Minister spent the year on this cynical power grab, he has doubled the deficit, and given Canada the worst grocery prices and housing costs in the G7. Liberals expect Canadians to give up, get complacent and go away, so Carney can have total power without any accountability. That will not happen. Our country and its people are worth fighting for. We will continue to fight for people to afford homes, food and fuel. We will continue to fight for safety in our streets. We will continue to fight for our resource workers and soldiers. @RickAnderson Almost 10 million Canadians are food insecure. 6.5 million do not have access to a doctor. They don’t need fair, decent and diverse. They need a government that acts in the best interest of the people, instead of speeches and announcements.

I am truly fatigued by this negative line of dreck about Canada. Yes, we have challenges, more at the moment than usual. But this is a tremendous country, and yes we have a Canadian Dream, the belief that people can come together to build better lives, and in doing so build a better country: fair, decent, and diverse.

@rupasubramanya Kinda ironic that while the Liberals poach MP’s from all parties to form a majority for the first time in history, the only problem identified in this whole thing is the leader of the opposition. Baffling.

We can only win if the Liberals implode which likely won't happen for another few years is quite the vote of confidence in Poilevre who at this point reminds me of the guy who hangs outside Parliament everyday in the hopes the convoy returns: the trucker who never left.
