I mean, I get it. I do. It’s very hard to feel sorry for universities. They put themselves in this position.
But I suspect that forcing universities to have pro-Western curricula or whatever is a big expansion of federal higher ed content oversight and will be quite destructive.

This is a HUGE issue & a big example of double standards because plenty of people who wear reps would hate for their own IP to be stolen & profited on. But people just don’t care until it happens to them.

@karidaniels To me, my issue is it’s theft of somebody’s IP. Producing, selling and buying a fake anything is stealing money from the company that made it. I take it personal because our company loses millions of dollars to counterfeit products every year.

@skywaker9 Liv’s role in this election to me is the text book example of why ranked choice is great. She ran a really great, really compelling campaign. I ranked her one as an act of support, knowing she wouldn’t win. Most who did knew it to. It shows viability of non party candidates.

So more proof that @DontRankRene was effective. When Mapps was eliminated, just over 27k of his votes transfered to Wilson, Rubio or Rene (8k were exhausted as they didn't rank any of the 3).
Of that 27k, about two thirds ranked Wilson or Rubio and only a third ranked Rene.
