@SeahawksLead@new_era72 we should trade down unless Terrell or Brandon Cisse are available at 32 or even McCoy but with his injury he will probably drop way further than 32

This is just insane 😳 (via @Ballislife)
@KingstonHawk3@jedeye718@kachinuel@ShamsCharania and Luka isnt a God awful defender but he is definitely below average but the 2 weeks leading to his injury he was starting to pick it up and finally play defense
@justseann2@jedeye718@kachinuel@ShamsCharania I think it’s dumb to make a purely statistical argument for anyone. But it’s even dumber when you do PPG and ignore totals. That’s the point.
SGA is better than Luka because he impacts winning more. At Luka’s very best he’s still a god awful defender that gets targeted.
Just in: The NBA and NBPA have ruled in favor of Lakers' Luka Doncic and Pistons' Cade Cunningham on their Extraordinary Circumstances Challenge for the 65-game award rule, making both eligible for all 2025-26 season honors such as MVP and All-NBA teams, sources tell ESPN.
@KingstonHawk3@jedeye718@kachinuel@ShamsCharania ur the one who brought up stats tryna add 0s to all of the games he missed and even if you do totals Luka has more points, rebounds, assist, and more steals than SGA so totals wouldnt go in that favor either towards SGA and if you went off totals Jokic would win every year
@KingstonHawk3@jedeye718@kachinuel@ShamsCharania you can say that for everyone😭if you take the 14 games SGA missed n put all 0 then his stats aren’t impressive anymore, same with jokic, Wemby, and even Cade
@justseann2@jedeye718@kachinuel@ShamsCharania You can help your team a lot in 25 minutes, rotational players do it all the time.
Putting up a 0 is different. Luka’s entire argument is his averages. But what are they, if we count all the games he missed? Are they even impressive still?
@KingstonHawk3@jedeye718@kachinuel@ShamsCharania i mean but then u can make the argument for someone like Wemby. Wemby only has 1,866 minutes in 65 games played cause he started subbing out around 20-25 minutes cause Wemby went almost 20 games straight with 28 minutes or less and they lost games because of it
@justseann2@jedeye718@kachinuel@ShamsCharania Who is talking about getting in trouble?
I think it’s perfectly fine that Luka made that choice. The point is, for every game he missed he contributed 0 to the team.
There has to be some sort of threshold for how many 0s you can put up and still win awards.
@Faulken_@gaurxv_k@ShamsCharania you do realize every rule has an exception? Luka missed 2 games for his childs birth which is an exception and Cade was on pace for all 82 games before he had a collapsed lung, most the players who make all NBA team wouldnt be here without freak injuries
@justseann2@gaurxv_k@ShamsCharania and? 1-2 or 60... not eligible is not eligible... or you are eligible when you are in the race for an award?
what about those who will not be in the NBA first team with Luka and Cade will?
The league just messed their rules up
@RonaldAlmonor@wachakchak@SaanTru@BrokeBoyCap@ShamsCharania ik Luka got hurt but if Luka didnt miss 2 games due to his kids birth he wouldnt of made it. Luka was injured for a decent amount but Luka also missed a game due to hitting the max amount of technical fouls which I doubt they let slide
@KingstonHawk3@jedeye718@kachinuel@ShamsCharania just ignoring the fact that Luka wasnt overridden for injuries😭 NBA only let Luka slide because he missed 2 games for his child’s birth. Many players have missed games for their child’s birth and its never a problem, Ant left mid game for his kids birth n he didnt get in trouble
@Faulken_@gaurxv_k@ShamsCharania I mean its very simple😂 Luka was at 64 GP and I think Cade was at 63 or 64 while coming back almost 1-2 weeks earlier expected with a collapsed lung, while Wemby was still 19 games short
@gaurxv_k@ShamsCharania They didn't broke it last year for wemby's DPOY...
He has the most block at the end of the season without playing mote than 46 games 🤣
@BonkersBroncos@BrokeBoyCap@ShamsCharania just old n dumb😭 Luka missed 2 games for his child’s birth its the only reason it was overridden and did you just skip over Cade getting overridden for his collapsed lung?
@BrokeBoyCap@ShamsCharania Because the Lakers have rules catered to them. So if they cry and flop around enough it's ok to flop, it's ok to complain, and now this.
@wachakchak@SaanTru@BrokeBoyCap@ShamsCharania the injury only was used for Cade tho cause he had a collapsed lung, Luka got overridden cause he missed 2 games for the birth of his child its nowhere near the same
@dallassportzone@WeTalknYamz@TheNBABase its only an argument cause Flagg had a bad start when he was running PG, Kon had a better October-January then Coop has outplayed him since late January to now
@WeTalknYamz@TheNBABase I hear what you’re saying, and I fully agree with it, but everything I hear from the demographic that actually holds voting power is leaning to Kon. Did you know that ROTY voters can cast their ballots before the season even ends? There’s a significant chance many of these voters
Fun Fact: Kon Knueppel has made more three-pointers in his rookie season (270) than Ray Allen made in any single season of his career (269), shooting a ridiculous 42.7% from deep with one game still remaining.
@new_era72 Seeing Geno throw some of the most insanely beautiful balls just for him to instantly throw the most retarded red zone picks was definitely something
@HumbleHung48098@Novig you dont score 50k points with no bag, that theory is so ass. Also LeBrons midrange and all around shooting has been better since 2011 and even tho it wasnt ELITE prior to 2011 it still wasnt terrible
@justseann2@Novig I suppose u also believe what Bron said when he said that his gm was flawless too right?
Even tho he's pathetic from midrange & is totally bagless
@HumbleHung48098@Novig its legit facts go look😭 cause players like MJ and Barkley legit fed off of this, you either had to guard Star players 1 on 1 or send a double team and let it be a 4 on 3
@HumbleHung48098@Novig every era has had rule changes that helps the offense
80-90s u couldnt hedge and basically took away zones so it was either an ISO or a hard double team which would make it a 4v3
and I think we all know how the NBA has made offense the key focus the past 25 years
