@LucasFryman Invincible is an animated series that's scared to take advantage of the fact that it's ANIMATED.

Ben 10 has way better art style and direction. Very fun as a monster of the week deal. Invincible ranges from great to bad. Very inconsistent for what’s billed as prime time tv. It also feels pale in comparison to its comics. It feels like it’s not pushing itself to what it could be, not really bothering to do shading or color grading aside from a few choice scenes. Just kind of depresses me.

@CloudZill4 We rlly need cel shading in the next game man. The ingame 3D models never capture the same feel as the art on their own.

I hope the next Sonic game goes in a direction like this visually and model wise. Just a purely stylized game that’s stands out from his peers. Cell shaded look and models based on uekawa/karasuno’s art

Invincible hurts me, because it has the potential to be great. It has 3 compendiums worth of comics and is a huge part of that loosely connected Imageverse. It’s a prime adaptation material. With it being a comic, it’s basically already storyboarded too. Instead, Kirkman decided to majorly cheap out on the animation, turn it into celebrity voice cameo slop, and make a bunch of baffling changes. It kills me.

Like, it’s one thing to grab a couple big name legends like J. K Simmons because they can do it and they’re voicing important characters. But when you’re just having these big names on randos or just shot-gun grabbing when you should be focused on animation, that’s bad & dumb.
