This is VERY bad for the long term health and vibrancy of Silicon Valley. What major bank will be willing to invest in the startup ecosystem given the systemic risk to its survival that it would represent.

The number of 'we have no exposure' emails from investors I have gotten in the last 6 months is hilarious (Luna, 3AC &co > FTX > Genesis > Silvergate > SVB, etc) especially given I had never seen one until last 12 months! now that everyone has a template they come much faster 2.
