Went to Canada last week. Here’s the little sidekick fast asleep at the top of the CN tower, niagra falls, the shore of Lake Erie and Toronto Aquarium. This week I have a cough. Best believe he can’t sleep through a single cough.

Went to a funeral at new churches with a rock band and lights. Those evangels sure dont do a luncheon like the Richwood United Church Woman. No bread and butter pickles, no cream cheese and cherry, and the most unholy was miracle whip and processed cheese #prayfortheevangels

After dueling over 5000m at the 2003 Paris World Champs (Kipchoge 🥇, Bekele 🥉) these two legends will be facing off again in the Olympic marathon in Paris. 21 years later! At the time some thought these guys were much older than their birth certificates would indicate.

Huge congratulations to our Science Teacher Callum Rowlinson who took part in the Manchester Marathon on Sunday and crossed the line in an amazing 6th place with a time of 2 hours, 22 minutes. We are incredibly proud of his achievement. @DixonsAcademies @intouchwyth

Started Saturday right with a 19.44 parkrun for 1 and a half athletes. Not bad at 23 weeks preggers. Off up north now to fight hard for a place in the Salford team at the Northern cross. Up the reds. Bloody love a bit of running me.

Friday nights storm was one of the worst storm I had driven in and I’ve been here almost 40 years. I feel bad for the lad that’s only been here two weeks and is delivering your Uber eats

Last night framing my house, the old farmer in me came out. I was pulling nails out of braces. Instead of dropping the bent ones I straightened them and put them back in my pouch. Every penny seems to count these days. @edshantz I thought of you and your pail of bent nails
