Another full house of welcoming international exchange students to SoTA today.

From Chinatown to Kingsdock, telling a story of Chinese seamen in Liverpool. The work (in progress) will be exhibited at @PagodaArts in October, then head to Shanghai in December! Exciting times!

It was so great to see China’s significant contribution to the World War II is presented at this event by CGTN. It was very inspiring to learn the stories of many foreign aids in China at the time, including the British journalist George Hogg who died in Gansu in 1945.

A great afternoon spent with children at Pagoda Arts, with colleagues and students from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, we drew the future of Chinatown together! We want more flowers, shops, green space, a zoo and bubble tea at the future 唐人街！

@jxi2010 @paul_bower I once taught a student who made a model so BIG he couldn’t get it out of his bedroom. Fortunately he was an excellent photographer!
