Pre Runes that made it Why am I bullish on these? The community and distribution There are currently 5 in the top 20 MC runes 2. $DOG @LeonidasNFT - 754M 3. $RSIC @rune_coin - 223M 6. $DEC @decentralized02 - 51M 8. $LOBO @lobothewolfpup - 46M 16. $GOB @gob_btc - 9M They are 2 - 6 on the top holders chart This can be both positive and negative, it obviously means possibility of more sellers but supply is spread out between a lot more people In most cases they had well over a month of trading volume and distribution as Ordinals before runes and so they have hardcore communities that have managed to survive months along with solid distribution Another underrated factor is a lot of these are dead wallets that were airdropped runes so might never sell (effectively reducing circulating supply significantly) I’m super bullish on a bunch of new coins too but the benefit pre runes have is that with a much larger distribution they probably have a greater chance of long-term success compared to coins with less holders which generally dip more in down times New coins take time to distribute which some of them are doing really well but it takes a lot more volume For prerunes you can almost add the volume that they traded in Ordinals onto their runes volume Obviously not an exact science but people are significantly invested already and so are less likely to just dump at the sight of a small pump There’s obviously a lot of factors to consider but personally I see these 5 as safer bets than a lot of newer coins purely due to the longevity they’ve already shown I love post halvening runes for upside potential but I’ll save that for another tweet
