I took one of the biggest internet theories of the last decade, the Dead Internet Theory, and rebuilt it from first principles. What if it’s not a collapse of the web but an evolution? Not bots flooding timelines. Agent systems running controlled experiments at machine speed. When that happens, attention isn’t the scarce resource anymore. Access is. Social media doesn’t die. It becomes an economy. I call it the Zoo Theory.. Full breakdown below 👇

Feel weirdly lucky and unlucky at the same time. Things could have gone a lot worse and I’m grateful to still be here, but my body still feels wrecked it's actually brutal. Hopefully past the worst now… but I still feel awful.

Most people expect recovery to slowly get easier. For me recently it’s honestly been the opposite - more pain, less mobility, some days barely functioning. I want to be doing so much more, but right now some days are just about getting through it. Been sleeping crazy hours just to escape the pain. Recovery isn’t always a straight line.

Been pretty sick recently and stuck in bed recovering, so I’m doing the best I can with the energy I’ve got. Output is lower than usual right now but I’m still here and still building where I can.

@PraxMedia Buyback executed. Liquidity juiced. 22% discount if you pay Synapse subs with $OOBE. Staking incoming 👀 @OOBEonSol isn’t playing real utility = real demand. Who’s loading up before the next leg? Ascend $OOBE.

We keep building and shipping in any condition. Weekends are always busy at OOBE. That's how we've built our infra in a short time whereas it could've took years. Now's the time we receive the rewards for our hardwork. More adoption for OOBE is on the way. Ascension is near.

I think the Dead Internet Theory is directionally right. But I think it misses the real shift. The internet isn’t dying. It’s becoming what I call Zoo Theory. Not a place where bots replace humans. A place where agents observe, test, and optimize behaviour while humans unknowingly generate the data that trains them. And the uncomfortable part is this: Humans didn’t disappear. We split into two roles. Most people live inside the system as participants. A smaller group operates outside the system as architects designing the infrastructure, incentives, and rules. Agents aren’t replacing humans. They’re becoming specialized workers operating inside environments we built. Which means the real question isn’t will AI replace humans. It’s: Will humans remain the architects… or slowly become just another species inside the zoo they built.

Can’t stop thinking about my discussion with @adamamcbride from @EmblemVault during the Agent Network EP4 for @OOBEonSol. We talked about the reality of agents today, how far they can actually be trusted, and he made a good point that x402 volume isn’t as high as people assume yet. A lot of the narrative is ahead of the actual usage. I also shared my view that this is exactly why infrastructure matters. If we want a real agent economy, the foundations have to come first. I also mentioned how OOBE is already tackling this with fully provable, verifiable, onchain agentic systems. Really grounded conversation. We really had some amazing devs on.

Most teams do not need to spend the next 4–8 weeks rebuilding agent infrastructure from scratch. There are multiple layers to building infrastructure: Identity, discovery, memory, payments and tool schemas. Synapse Agent Protocol compresses them into one integration surface so projects can skip the glue code and get to the actual product faster. That is not a small optimization, rather a major speed advantage. SAP will become the industry standard.

Agent Network EP4 (@OOBEonSol) was a strong discussion around the reality of autonomous builders and where agents actually fit in the future of development. A big takeaway was that while agents are becoming powerful tools that can significantly speed up development, the consensus was they won’t fully replace humans. Instead, they’ll act as force multipliers. Useful, but not something you can fully trust without oversight. We also discussed how concepts like x402 show promise for machine-to-machine payments and the agent economy, but are still early and largely speculative until real adoption proves the model. From my side I also shared how OOBE is focused on building the infrastructure layer needed for an agent-native ecosystem, because if agents are going to participate in development and coordination, they need identity, tooling access, and execution environments designed for them. We also touched on how agents could reshape development workflows in the coming years, tying into my Zoo Theory idea - where humans remain the architects and supervisors while agents operate more like specialized workers inside controlled environments rather than fully autonomous actors. Appreciate all the builders that joined: Skale, Crossmint, AceDataCloud, Agent Hustle (Emblem), Xona, Autoincentive, Sp3aker, QuickSync, Invoica and Nova. For Agent Network EP5 we’ll be upgrading the format. It will be hosted as a livestream on both StageX and X instead of a Space so we can have a more structured discussion and go deeper into topics. More details soon.

We’re introducing a token utility for OOBE! From now on, Synapse RPC subscriptions can be paid with OOBE tokens. We’re not done: Users who pay with OOBE tokens get 22% discount! As Synapse grows, token demand grows. Price goes up. Remember, if new users are looking for a discount on their Synapse subscriptions, they will have to buy $OOBE and pay with it. These payments go directly into our treasury, and increase our supply control. We’re focused on building real infrastructure and making our token a part of how it operates. While doing it, we’re bringing buy pressure for the chart. When adoption grows, the utility grows with it. Pricing: synapse.oobeprotocol.ai/pricing
