🕘 HRRR model snow ETA 8-9 PM tonight. 🕕 ETD before Weds AM rush hour. 📏 Amounts ~ 1”+ or so in S Will Co. ~ 2” from 840 north to 40. Closer to 3” the further north you go from I-40. 🥶 may not see meaningful melting until Sat. Lows 12° & 10° Thu & Fri mornings.

@Shoebox25886844 @NashSevereWx Brood XIX is a 13yr cycle brood, which is what we are supposed to see. Just to be confusing, brood XIII is on a 17yr cycle (which we aren't supposed to see here in Nashville)

@NashSevereWx We had cicadas here in 2011. It was a big cicada year. They laid their eggs here. Since it is 13 years later, aren't we in the 13 year brood area too?

Looks now like we'll have two rounds of storms. These storms....and the main line later overnight. These storms in SW Mid-TN should be here in the next couple of hours. Could be hailers. They also could steal some energy from round 2 overnight. But dunno yet. Radar 8:02 pm

The struggle is real. Same problem over here. Maybe this afternoon we'll get a few breaks. Exactly when we don't know, breaks will be neighborhood dependent. (Please don't say what about when will it stop raining in my neighborhood)

@goosname Same storm system; I think it's where the line of freezing rain slid along, with snow/sleet to the NW and regular rain to SE. Nashville so far has managed to keep most of it's power thankfully.
