Dermatologists have incredibly simple skincare routines, even though they get unlimited amounts of free skincare from brands. That means if you're spending a lot of your hard-earned money on skincare - you're doing it wrong.

For the last year and a bit, I've been writing a book, all about the science of beauty. It's called… The Science of Beauty. I'm great with names! It covers the basics (and not-so-basics) of skincare, haircare, makeup, nails, as well as general cosmetic science.

Let’s not be classist/ableist when condemning far-right riots. Racism isn’t a “working class trait”. It’s woven into the fabric of our society and comes from the top. One of the few things that has trickled down. But it doesn’t have to be this way - we can build a better world.

I am immensely proud that the NHS I work in is one of the most multi-ethnic and diverse organisations in the world. NHS colleagues and emergency workers from many countries and faiths work around the clock to serve every UK community. You have my utmost appreciation and respect.

1. I work as a consultant cardiologist in a large tertiary centre providing care over 1 million people. ➡️ There are 30 of us, and 70% of Cardiologists in my unit including myself are either immigrants themselves or the sons and daughters of immigrants ➡️ many of my colleagues are Muslims who provide care to you and your families ➡️ whilst a minority are out rioting, flashing Nazi signs beating up people of colour many of whom look after their families- including their elderly relatives- the majority of the good people of UK are sickened by these individuals who do not represent us as a country. Witnessing all the violent racist attacks in England in utter disbelief & horror I was born & raised in England & have been a doctor in the NHS for over 15 years I’m British. Yet, for the first time, I feel I don’t belong in my own country and fear for my own & my kids’ safety due to the colour of our skin 😞

Wanted to clarify something about a patient. Phoned the GP Within 90s of calling, the GP was telling me he knew the patient for the last 30 yrs, the full pmh, baseline exam and the patients hobbies too. When primary care are allowed to be primary care, they have no equal.
