Hi @ServiceOntario, we are in line at one of your locations, seems like there is an outage affecting drivers license services that may be province-wide? Can you provide any info?
English

Theoretically, I totally vibe with "Plan your work, then work your plan."
But like, when #ADHD and/or #motherhood knocks you on your butt, how can one realistically do this? Both of those things are really challenging. Hmmm... #adhdmom

Up in early AM, baby asleep post feeding, my mind wanders back to an idea using the @ynab API. Idea captured in notebook, hope I can read these scratches in the daylight. Lots of Google searches, more notes. Environment setup still scares me but willing to try. #ADHDwithBaby

- Use motifs from the game to facilitate song creation or improv for emotional processing
- Dig in to dynamic music creation prevalent in #vgm today, explain how it works, propose ideas for how it can impact #MusicTherapySessions from both theoretical & practical perspectives
English

Sometimes early AM feeding & struggling to get baby back to sleep turns out to be a blessing because your mind wanders back to a conversation the prev day & you brainstorm about ideas for a presentation on incorporating #VideoGameMusic into #MusicTherapy sessions #ADHDwithBaby

Nobody warned me about #mastitis, I went from struggling to pronounce the word to it being part of my everyday lexicon. But also nobody told me that having my baby sleeping on my shoulder post-feed would be magic I could access every day. So I guess it evens out. #ADHDwithBaby

Also, it's ok to take a deep breath, notice when I am doing something that's causing more stress/anxiety/friction, ask myself if I am getting anything in return, and drop it if the answer is no. Tracking diapers was helpful in Week 1. No longer for me in Week 7. 2/2 #ADHDwithBaby
English

Note to self - when a healthcare provider advises to track something (feeding time and amount, diapers, pumping amounts), make sure I am clear about WHY I am tracking, and when I will know when to stop. 1/2 #ADHDwithBaby

Finally got my @loopearplugs in the mail today - noticed a difference after just putting the first one in. Immediately took the edge off, oh my word, the relief from sound overstimulation is wonderful. Definitely will be using these a lot! #ADHDwithBaby!

Whoever coined "sleep when the baby sleeps" must have either had a seamless breastfeeding journey, had a village to help take care of the baby and the housework, or was giving armchair advice. I recognize that this advice helps for some, but it does not work for me #ADHDwithBaby
English

Already decided to change tags.
Anyway.
I was reminded how critical it is for me to get outside and interact with other people every single day. I need the fresh air, change of scenery and context. And honestly, Baby will benefit from it too.

@Laurier That buffer will get depleted, repeatedly. Ultra discouraging. But it helped, gave a small amount of breathing room. One more breath I wouldn't have had if I hadn't done it. I can always start a new combo. Better way to live than just surviving. Every1 benefits #4thtrimester #5/5
English

@Laurier This is a thing that stacks, basically I have to keep looking for these pockets to "go long" and in doing so, hope I build up a combo that will give me bonus reward beyond what short term can provide, & have faith that it will pay off eventually. #4thtrimester 4/5
English

They say "the first month / year is just trying to survive" and that is absolutely true don't get me wrong. But in previous experience (ie school, finances, mental health), survival is meant to be a short-term game. It's not a sustainable way of life #4thtrimester 1/?
English

Hi Twitter. Or I guess it's a letter now. I had a baby. I'm gonna post some random thoughts that come to mind here - wisdom, sleep deprived hallucinations that seem like wisdom, stuff like that. Will see how long this lasts. Will use #4thtrimester until n/a Let's go
