We haven't been able to get my 4yo to nap in months. I thought we were just sadly past that phase. Then at parent-teacher conferences today I learned he naps at preschool everyday. PRESCHOOL TEACHERS ARE AMAZING

Kids were suspiciously quiet. I found them in the pantry taking shots of sprinkles straight from the sprinkle shaker

Lately my 4yo has decided that he is a skunk. It's like living in an advanced improv game where I have to yes-and my partner while also convincing him that some skunks do like cleaning up their toys and saying thank you.

I'm 100% for women in STEM careers and positions of power. But we shouldn't forget that gender equality means fairly valuing and recognizing ALL women's work, especially when it's un/underpaid, unglamorous and essential. Happy #InternationalWomensDay2023! 🙌
