I happened to look out my window just in time to see a fox run up and grab one of my Silkie chickens and run off into the woods with it. I said "oh no he 's got one of my little chickens!" My husband lit off into the woods in his moccasins after the fox. I guess he scared the fox cause the fox dropped her and she's back in the coop just missing tail feathers. I can't believe he got her back for me. ♥️ Time to hunt some fox.

@Arkypatriot it's my understanding that it really really fell off in recent years and they've been allowed to get fat. It's one of the things that Hegseth is addressing because it's so bad.

So I was at a military retirement today for a friend's husband. 38 years total, US Army, US Air Force, Army National Guard and USAF National Guard. I have the utmost respect for all our armed forces but let me tell you I was surprised over the size of some of the Air National Guard members. No way would they ever be allowed to be that size in the USMC. I realize the missions are different but these folks were really paunchy. What's up with that?
