Which would you rather, Citizens? 1. Renew Rodri’s contract. So he doesn’t leave to Madrid for free. But Nico Gonzalez leaves at the end of the season because of “lack of game time”. 2. Trust Nico as Rodri’s successor next season and cash in on Rodri now before his contract expires. Meaning Rodri is sold at the end of the season, but Nico stays. Which are you choosing?

@_graceymae @rollcallmaster @KLM @Gha_Immigration You have an “expired ECOWAS passport” as a Nigerian and you wanted the airline to drop you in Ghana? Does what you’re saying make sense to you? Do you think Ghana is an extension of Nigeria? Just STFU.

I will never fly with @KLM again and you shouldn’t either. Last October they denied me boarding a flight to Accra because they claimed there was no visa on arrival process. I should them the official Ghana immigration website and they still rubbished me. I was actively encouraged to fly to Lagos and sort myself out from there since I was attending a wedding the next day. I’ve raised two separate complaints over the last five months. Chasing weekly. Responses not relevant to my case at all. Being spun in circles all because they didn’t know the immigration laws. I paid through the nose to get to Ghana: - New ticket to Lagos - Hotel in Lagos - New flight from Lagos to Accra ALL unbudgeted for. They don’t respect their African passengers. Asides from the forcing us onto the oldest fleet of planes, and the obvious disdain they have for us - every enquiry is like you’re bothering them, their complaints service is diabolical. Please send me alternatives that won’t lose my luggage. I’ve had it

@trigottista Whatever the case.. Ghanaians are NOT RELATED TO THE Nigerians in any way. Whether they’re Ibo, Yoruba or some other shit like that. Ghanaians have been too hospitable for these pieces of shit to feel we’re an extension of their Country. WE ARE FUCKING NOT!!!

After impressively tabling and securing a UN Resolution declaring the transatlantic slave trade as the gravest crime against humanity, Ghana must show a good example, like Benin, by officially apologising for being an accomplice in capturing and selling slaves to the Europeans.

Galamsey should be on the lips of every young person living in Ghana. Are we raising awareness of an impending threat to our existence into an empty void? Can’t you see we’re being poisoned? Ah awurade what a country #StopGalamseyNow wai

That’s how you know this is about procurement. Instead of doing the “boring work” to clean up the existing data and carry out a targeted registration of only faulty records, everyone is asked to start from scratch without a sound rationale. Each new registration generates revenue for the service provider handling the process, so there is little incentive to clean up the existing data and reduce the potential revenue. If the claim is that there are fake Ghana Cards among the records that matched based on facial data, then matching those cards against the NIA, the source of truth, should return no matches. Unless those “fake” cards somehow exist in the NIA database, in which case the problem goes beyond SIM registration. Without doing the additional work to estimate the extent of the issue, Ghanaians are being asked to go through another SIM registration exercise. And look at the Tech Minister talking about processing each of the 30 million records, as if this is not a straightforward data join that a junior developer could easily automate.

Minister, GH₵240 million is the estimated cost of this exercise. Asking telcos to pay it does not make it free. Telcos are businesses. MTN’s own CEO already said they will ‘tighten the belt’ to manage the cost. That belt tightening shows up in your data bundle and call tariffs. We the consumer pays either way. Just not directly.

These small snails didn’t disappear because they stopped existing, We removed them. People don’t want to struggle with food anymore. No picking No sucking No patience Everything must be soft, easy, straight to swallow Convenience, aesthetics, and less patience in cooking made people drop them…..but in doing that, we didn’t just lose an ingredient… we lost part of the experience.

Minister, India’s government used AI to deduplicate and authenticate over 1.4 billion biometric records. Fingerprints, iris scans, facial images, all cross-checked at population scale. Ghana has 30 million. The technology exists and has been proven. There is no shame in saying you need to consult further on a technical matter. That is leadership. Saying AI cannot do something it has been doing for a decade doesn’t look good.

The real issue is Galamsey destroying our water sources while leaders keep giving excuses every single day. From 13-24 is not just a mere problem it’s galamsey. #StopGalamseyNow
