Existe uma ordem inerente na internet em que redes mais hostis e esquizofrênicas geram a verdade, que é então diluída para as massas. O 4chan, por exemplo, é extremamente hostil e psicótico. 99,99% é loucura e ruído. Mas é de lá também que saiu a notícia da morte de Epstein em primeira mão, bem como um dos filmes mais aclamados do ano (o Backrooms). O Twitter é hostil, um lugar de teorias conspiratórias e suposições, mas uma boa fonte para encontrar especialistas falando sobre temas que não são noticiados em outras mídias. Em Dezembro de 2019 eu já acompanhava virologistas falando sobre o Covid aqui no twitter. Isso não se encontra no Instagram. No Youtube, as especulações twitteiras são investigadas e mastigadas para o grande público. Quase nada surge em primeira mão lá, mas é onde as informações ficam mais legíveis e melhor explicadas. O Instagram e o TikTok são as redes das grandes massas. O conteúdo do Youtube é transformado em "dicas rápidas", POVs e opiniões polêmicas porém domesticadas. Quem quer algo mais "cru" vai ao TikTok, já quem tem apreço à estética vai ao IG. Same same. Finalmente, o conteúdo chega à última camada da internet. Depois de sanitizado, limpo de polêmicas e termos chulos, e passados mais uma vez pelo ChatGPT, o conteúdo chega ao LinkedIn. O LinkedIn é onde você não vai encontrar nada verdadeiro, apenas uma sombra de algo que já foi verdade. Nada lá vai te surpreender. As informações perdem a nerdisse do Youtube, a raiva do Twitter, a autenticidade do TikTok e até mesmo o bom gosto do Instagram. O LinkedIn é a caverna de Platão da internet. É onde você vê projeções de um mundo real que acontece fora, e pessoas para acreditarem com você que essas ilusões são a realidade. Não à toa, as pessoas chamam a rede de LinkeDisney. Um ambiente que relembra uma cidade real, onde tudo é exposto como fantástico e nada surpreende. Nada de ruim acontece. O connoisseur da topografia digital de conteúdo escolhe com cuidado aonde transita. Fique tempo demais nas profundezas da psiquê coletiva da internet, como o Twitter ou -- salve-se quem puder -- o 4chan, e você ficará louco, raivoso e amargurado. Transite por muito tempo pelo Instagram, TikTok ou o LinkedIn e viverá uma vida de ilusões. E é por tudo isso que eu disse que minha rede favorita é o Youtube. É o equilíbrio perfeito.

O X e o Instagram são como Esparta e Atenas. Uma sociedade é beligerante e construída no fogo do conflito a outra valoriza a estética e a filosofia. Se odeiam na maior parte do tempo, não conseguem entender a cultura uma da outra e pouquíssimas pessoas conseguiam transitar com sucesso por ambas. De vez em quando se unem pra enfrentar um inimigo comum. É divertido ver como a linguagem do Instagram é recebida neste site (Copy Thief Mega Brain) e eu ainda não conheci ninguém famoso no X levando isso para o Instagram.

Algumas decisões (importantes?) Faz um tempo que decidi sair do Instagram. De fato, também desativei meu LinkedIn. A única rede social que mantenho ativa é esta, o X. Como alguns sabem, criei uma empresa chamada Analog. Ela ainda não é uma "empresa" de fato. Possui apenas domínio, registro no IRS (CNPJ) e uma conta bancária vazia. Por algumas razões, estou assumindo o blog da Pingback via Analog. Ele tem capacidade de fazer cerca de 500mil visitas únicas mensais em três idiomas: PT/BR, EN e ES. O blog tem um legado grande de temas sobre marketing de conteúdo e assuntos relacionados. Está velho, desatualizado e carece de um grande e oneroso trabalho de recuperação. Junto a isso, decidi retomar minha newsletter, que, agregando algumas listas, está com cerca de 550mil inscritos. Fiz uma limpeza profunda, então esses são e-mails ativos, com caixa de entrada válida. A temática tanto do blog quanto da newsletter deve girar em torno de IA, claro, mas também de produto, marketing e growth, assuntos que domino, falo e compartilho a respeito há tempos. Além do blog e da newsletter, a comunidade do Builders Work Club no WhatsApp passou de 1,2 mil pessoas. A newsletter seguirá mais próxima da comunidade, com o mesmo nome. Já o blog, preferi manter em um domínio separado, decisão da qual posso me arrepender em breve, mas achei que era o melhor a se fazer neste momento. Meu objetivo é seguir crescendo esses canais de distribuição, embora não tenha "nada" programado, por agora, para distribuir neles. O trabalho será revitalizar, corrigir e colocar o blog de volta nos trilhos, reengajar a turma na newsletter e seguir fortalecendo a comunidade de builders no WhatsApp. Nos próximos meses, vou compartilhar por aqui como estou fazendo esse árduo trabalho de recuperar e fazer crescer novamente um blog em três idiomas diferentes, bem como reengajar e crescer uma newsletter de grande porte. Ah, e o que isso tem a ver com Instagram e LinkedIn? Nada, exceto que você não me encontrará em outro lugar, senão aqui no X, no blog e/ou na newsletter. gm
