You see, this mentality, that nothing else matters is why it's so easy to troll you. Something truly historically great happened with Nebraska football for a few decades. Unfortunately, it's left behind this entitled mentality that there's something special about the geographical location your college team resides in. You had an all-time great coach. That's it. That's what happened. That's is all. It wasn't something special about Lincoln, like some some invisible force driving greatness, it was just a historically great coach who hasn't called a play in Lincoln since 1997. Don't let good become the enemy of great. You've never had a competitive basketball program until now. This is a good thing. Let it be a good thing even if you don't cut down the nets at the end of the season. This is why the Iowa fan base owns you. We are grateful for the good, and every once in awhile the sun shines a little brighter. And just in case you were confused, it's the same damn sun in Iowa.

Just saw Nebraska spent 4.5 million on its basketball roster this year. Which is less than any other sweet 16 team. Would you be ok with Nebraska taking money away from the football program to give to the basketball program? To make it even better?

@NotWhoYouDream Illinois travels well, but it’s a weekday, in a location far away. Illinois does not expect to win and likely scared off many that didn’t want to spend over $1,500 on the trip. Nebraska is super excited by their team and has money saved up from failed football seasons.

Just drove through downtown Houston. The breakdown seems to be: 40% Nebraska fans 4% Iowa fans 5% Illinois fans 51% Houston fans Is Nebraska the only Big Ten fanbase that actually travels?

Yep, a million people, and nothing to do. There was this one time though, when the college world series games were played at the old stadium down by the zoo. We got a ride back to our hotel in an ice cream truck. Wild night. Then again, there are ice cream trucks in other cities too.

Huskers lost for multiple reasons, mostly defensive. But the refusal to attack the rim is frustrating. Iowa committed one foul in the 2nd half. Nebraska got a little tired and settled.
