𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐓𝐒 𝐖𝐈𝐍. Our brand of baseball tonight was trust. Trust in the guy standing next to you, trust in the bigger plan and trust in ourselves to do our jobs, even if we made mistakes. That combination lead to an 8-3 win over a very solid Liberty Lancer baseball team who came into the night an RPI Top 10 team in 5A. It also helped that junior Kade Ortiz (@kadeortizz) went 3 for 4 with FIVE RBIs and junior Caeden Herrera (@CaedenHerrera) threw a 6.2 inning 11 strikeouts, one walk masterpiece. It took senior Drew Nolasco (@drewnolasco7) 1 batter and 3 pitches to close out the game for the save after Herrera hit pitch count. Freshman Israel Allen (@IsraelJAllen1) and MJ Molina (@MJ_Molina13), as well as senior Damian Cordova all had timely RBIs in the dub. We never waivered. This team is fun, man. We get a little break and then we return to action the first week of April with 3 roadtrips before we finally start SCL play.
