The wine industry was very early to DTC but we have not evolved. How many wine brands: * Attempt to capture email online * Use email flows/segmentation * FB/targeted social ads * Landing pages * SEO * Strategic Social media I've been trying learn this stuff but it's not easy.

"Just make it in america bro" Oh I would love to! But first, what does "made in the USA" even mean? Lets learn how lawyers and lobbyists helped ruin American infrastructure

Let’s get 500 retweets on this as soon as possible to humiliate Donald Trump. The greatest political ad ever made.

Strange blend, delicious wine. This is 2017. Grenache from the Rocks District is amazing. Didn’t think I’d like it with Cab, but I did!

@TRidesmith Probably need to revisit but Barbera was always my jam. now they’re all 14.5% alcohol and less lively. Who makes a great dolcetto?

If you don’t love #Dolcetto, imma come over your house and siphon all the gas out of your lawn mower and laugh at you in Saturday when you run out.

I know this isn’t rationale, and doesn’t even make sense… But I still believe that shorts should cost 50% less than pants.

@grapesunwrapped I poured at one once. There’s a famous Hot Dog maker called Hot Doug in Chicago. VIN Chicago did a hot dog pairing event and it was awesome. There was a foie gras dog with Sauternes. Pretty epic

Someone just asked if I would consider doing a hot dog tasting event with #wine. So I came up with "Glizzies and Fizzies" - hot dogs and sparkling wine. Let's see if I can get this off the ground now.

@michaelmiraflor I was thinking the same thing. Watched last night and realized there was zero Monday discussion at work or online about it.

Why is barely anyone talking about House of The Dragon on HBO, and how did so many fans not know that it premiered this past Sunday? Remember Twitter during the final GoT episodes? Incredible monoculture moments on this app.

@TRidesmith There was a lot of buzz around them at Hospice Du Rhône. Specifically Mullineux but everyone was taking about the region as a whole. For what that’s worth

Serious question here (🤓) Why don’t the Americans think that SA wines are as genius as the English?

Tell me why acquiring NextDoor is a bad idea. It's down 75% since IPO. And it feels wildly undervalued to me. 1) Cash $432.68M 2) Valuation is $524M ($956M - $432.68M) 3) Weekly active users 42 million So they are valuing a weekly active user at $10.28/user Meanwhile....other social apps value their users differently Snap: ~$86/user Meta: ~$130/user Pretty crazy. It smells like an opportunity. Here's how I'd turn it into a money-printing machine: It’s an ads business. Whenever I see an ads business, I see a misplaced assets. So, I’d build a local membership. 1) Low ticket ($10/month) - access to marketplaces, IRL community events, discounts, LinkedIn stylewho's viewed your profile. Make this a must have for everyone in the neighborhood. Think Amazon Prime for Neighborhoods. How do you make it a must add to cart. 2) High ticket ($300/month) - this is for the ballers. Maybe this includes monthly cleaners, some status symbol Pretty sure a local user like that is worth more than $10.28 Tell me me why acquiring Nextdoor is a bad idea. Am I wrong?
