There is room for “living” while planning for retirement. I understand the writer’s idea of PCP but still in everyone’s individual way - live life.

I used to give such financial advice before but life and experiences have changed me. Just yesterday, my uncle told me how he’s worked for 26 years, training his children, giving them the best and never really had much time for himself. Now, he’s 64 and about to retire with huge pay from one of the multinationals. He feels even too tired physically to travel round the world and enjoy the money. He’s lived a relatively good life, drive good cars and lives in a fine house but the stress in Naij has sapped him of energy. Tell me what else is left in retirement for such a man. Please don’t wait till retirement to live your best life. Don’t try to save and invest like you’re a Dangote. Avoid this wealth hoarding mentality of Nigerian politicians. Be smart with your finances now but try to enjoy Life along the way else NOK is lurking around. YOLO

I was driving when I saw the flash of a traffic camera. I figured my picture had been taken for exceeding the limit, even though I knew I wasn’t speeding. Just to be sure, I went around the block and passed the same spot, driving even more slowly, but the camera flashed again. Now I began to think this was quite funny, so I drove even slower as I passed once more, yet the camera flashed again. I tried a fourth and fifth time with the same results and was now laughing as the camera flashed while I rolled past at a snail’s pace. Two weeks later, I got five tickets in the mail for driving without a seat belt. You know, you just can’t fix stupid. 😖
