@BMW Why are some franchise garages giving the BMW brand a terrible name? My car’s warranty claim was mishandled due to their paperwork negligence, no apology, and threats of storage charges/selling my car. Is this how you run franchisees?
@BMWUK_@BMW_UK and even with full proof, you’re still left paying the bill. Be warned: if you’re thinking of paying for BMW’s extended warranty, understand it might not protect you when you actually need it.
@BMWUK_@BMW_UK This whole process was exhausting, unfair, and completely one-sided. It honestly feels like the Ombudsman is protecting the insurer not the customer.
In my opinion, this warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on. They’ll change their reasons, drag it out,
@BMW_UK@BMWUK_ I want to warn anyone considering a BMW Extended Warranty (underwritten by AWP/Allianz). Even with full service history and ticking every box, they still declined my claim and to my shock, the Ombudsman sided with them, despite strong evidence.
@visegrad24 Sure does burn a lot of oil making the batteries shipping and through in the big boats then using a big truck to get them dropped off. They’re all use oil still

They initially confirmed that the faulty timing chain was covered. After two months of scrutinizing my service history and inventing terms and conditions to which I successfully challenged they falsely claimed the oil was low.
