@Arrrrash imo, i feel like Halo 5's take on the whole advanced movement trend was and still is kinda unique to only Halo. every other game was about wall running and double jumping. but Halo 5 was all about thrusting, dashing, and dodging in and out of fights

Halo 5 is frequently critiqued for the addition of advanced movement to the Halo franchise. However other franchises like CoD have also played with advanced movement before moving back to a more boots on the ground style, Would Halo 5 have been better received as a spin off?

@HaileyEira i mean most games copy mechanics from other games though. like half the industry copied a lot of halos mechanics and yet they still all felt unique and seperate from halo. and yet halo feels generic when it does the same? that just makes it sound like by default halo is generic

Sprint doesn't belong in Halo. Humans are Forerunners. Halo's story ended at 3. Bungie's artstyle is the correct artstyle. Halo should never be free to play. MCC is a worse experience than legacy. Halo games should be fully complete at launch. 343 need to be removed from Halo.

@BraindeadIsLive @APotatoSoph @milkwayfps i dont get this argument. as a fan thats been playing ALL my life since HCE and 2, Halo has always still felt like halo to me even with sprint and slide. the core elements of Halo are still there. cod, titanfall, apex, Battlefield etc doesnt feel nor play like ANY halo even this
