That’s why every club in the country wanted Rio Ngumoha, aside from general play ultimately at any point in the 90 minutes he can create a moment from nothing and has easily transferred that to senior football.

What stands out to me about Ayyoub Bouaddi every time I watch him play is how good he is at breaking up play. He doesn’t look the strongest in terms of his physical profile but he uses his body really well. Has decent pace for a midfielder and he’s good at pressing/closing down his opponents. Out of midfielders in Ligue 1 who average seven defensive duels per 90, Bouaddi has the best success rate (65.25%). For a team that wants to be aggressive in their press, he’s an ideal profile. He can cover a lot of distances and a make a lot of recovery runs. I still think there’s a lot of room for him to improve on the ball. That will ultimately determine how high his ceiling is. At 18, what he’s done so far is very impressive, though.
