@ameliaboone Sounds like you are swimming in the correct lane... the deeper the pool is, the less frictional drag the moving water will have against the bottom... less drag... easier - faster swim... “wait you’re not a swimmer... I know... but I did stay at a #holidayinnexpress last night”

Can someone explain to me why I'm the only swimmer it seems who prefers the deep end lanes at my pool? Everyone else takes the shallow lanes first and I'm wondering if I'm missing something...🤔

Has anyone successfully learned to love swimming, if you started out hating it? If so, any tips for embracing it? I've spent a fair amount of time in the pool the past few years for cross-training, and I would love to actually enjoy it (like I do with running). Thank you!
