@GraysonJAllen you miss all the shots you don’t take, especially the ones when the clock runs out. Idiot.

@CalMensUltimate If you only get 4th at regionals what is your argument for still deserving a spot at natties? Stop distracting your own roster by complaining on social media and go get your players ready to compete for the region

After no reply from USAU, we ask again: Why haven’t we seen what games have been thrown out? Why don’t teams have a chance to appeal games? Why does a team get to benefit from losses thrown out due to a potentially ineligible roster?

@More_RadThanYou Curious on this logic - a person landing on top of someone else means they got to the same place at the same time. When I thought about it, I came to a conclusion that the person who got landed on got to the space before the person flying on top of them

@MEM_UrbanSoccer @ultimatesascha It’s like merging on the highway with someone in your blind spot. Just because you got your front tire to a certain spot before the car you merged into doesnt mean you get away with reckless driving.

@MEM_UrbanSoccer @ultimatesascha Think about it as if who’s going to get to the disc first without a bid. Both players will adjust their lines to the disc with that approach. When the trail runner (regardless of if it is O or D) decides to make a bid attempt, they become responsible for any ensuing contact

@MEM_UrbanSoccer @ultimatesascha In this case, orange is getting there without a bid first. Since white wants to bid to make up the ground and contact with the disc, they need to reestablish a path and landing area that orange isn’t attacking, probably at least 30 degrees more to the right than their current

@kale_ragers @alan_showcase @mdicus99 @KRBusker I wouldn't say that offense made this cut first. We literally don't know that based on the video. What the video shows is the defense looked up, made the cut, and got to that space at the same time, but hit the disc first.

@zplaysultimate @alan_showcase @mdicus99 @KRBusker Offense usually has this trajectory set first so ya, it typically is on the defense to avoid collisions. In cases where the throw is off and the offensive player has to change directions (accelerate again), then O would be responsible for checking space and avoiding contact

@Ultiworldlive Kalten toone goes to BYU? This kid was such a douchebag in club, constantly swearing and complaining at opposing players. Doesn’t fit the BYU vibe

Luke Yorgason patiently looks off two options in the end zone before smoothly putting an around backhand out to space ahead of Kalten Toone. BYU 2-2 Vermont

@JacksonActionX It’s not always the defender that has to be responsible for avoiding contact, it’s the responsibility of whoever last committed their speed and angle to attacking the disc. Which is usually the defense

@JacksonActionX With the defender knowing both paths to the disc would collide at >90 degrees, they need to turn their head and find the offensive cutter and decide that they can get to the disc cleanly before commiting to the play.

@alan_showcase @mdicus99 @KRBusker This is a horrible take, the dark defender knowingly strike cuts into a lane that the offense is likely cutting under into, without checking to see that they would get there cleanly first. Who gets there first doesn’t mean they got blindsided

@mdicus99 @KRBusker I would say the guy in dark was blind-sided. The guy in white should have seen him he was cutting toward the disc and not away.
