@nathangreennn i imagine each departure is conditional on others, if Mcgregor & Engels go, Nygrens asking price goes up & we’re less likely to a sanction Bernardo/Hatate leaving , if Nygren goes, price for Engels may rise etc, i reckon we see 3 departures + Ox expiring

Probably best for all parties but I’m concerned that Engels, Hatate, Nygren and Bernardo could be on the move with McGregor potentially off to Saudi.
We simply cannot afford to lose our entire midfield bar McCowan. A rebuild is needed but surely you keep some?

Either way his contract runs out in 27, so idk if they could command that much of a fee for him. Maybe towards 110-120

Nowhere that's the point. It's the same with Vinicius, so many players are basically untransferable cause of the sheer amount of money it would take in fee+wages and the fact that there's only ~8 teams in Europe that actually exist on that financial level

Feel like this one isn’t going to go Celtic’s way.
Sinisalo has been very impressive since Schmeichel’s injury, so it feels a bit strange for them to go for another goalkeeper that would be a starter realistically.
Celtic will sign a goalkeeper in the Summer, but I would put money on it being a 2nd choice signing.

Before this season he averaged 40
One of the best if not the best centre back I’ve seen at Celtic in my lifetime

A bit far away till the new season but this is what I’d be trying to build the team around.
Could see Engels leaving and if so we’d need another midfielder.
McGregor hasn’t been at his best but would still have him starting if he stays.

The defending being bad analysis I’m seeing is well reasoned but ignores that the attack was so good as both sides accepted risk in the defensive tactics. All approaches have tradeoff so none are inherently better. Coaches ideally need an approach that suits their players though.

This is how my somewhat realistic version of Liverpool post summer window would look.
It’s set up in a 4-2-3-1 on the graphic as that’s just easy. But I would be and will be very fluid with loads of rotations.
Also, Danns, Nyoni, Bradley, Morrison and Ndukwe are extra options.
