The loss of my father saddens me 😢, but I know he is now at peace. He was a wonderful man who will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. I will miss him dearly, but I take comfort in knowing that he is now in a better place. This was our last selfie together back in July 💔

@GKBhambra Accd to researchers one of the biggest revenue streams for British Raj was via opium trade. Another point - Sugar plantations generated significant revenue in other parts of the world & Indians were taken to these places through an agreement -girmitiya. Inter-connected trade.
