we can get ydsa back to where it should be -- the democratic mass pole that serves as intermediary, connective tissue of a fighting student movement engaged directly in class struggle -- but we need a total reset of leadership, and that's why i'm supporting these candidates

to steer national out of its current malaise, we need an ncc that is representative of the on-the-ground reality chapter leaders and the student movement more broadly are feeling. seeming inexperience is an asset. the ncc needs to rebuild ydsa's partnerships & ice/ij campaigns

A presidential campaign has the potential to change DSA’s trajectory, but not without risk. Allowing the NPC to make this consequential decision undermines our democracy, the 2027 Convention presents the only democratic opportunity to decide on existential questions we face.

Together with comrades from @MarxistUnityDSA we hope to put any decisions regarding the 2028 presidential primary in the hands of our highest decision making body - 2027 National Convention. It is the responsibility of our leaders to steward the democracy of our organization.
