It’s become impossible to ignore the way that people online make fun of my opponent for things that have nothing to do with her policies or politics. It’s unkind and unhelpful. If you support me, please stop.
Focus on the issues: Congresswoman Stevens has welcomed corporations and special interests to support her. She votes to send our money abroad while Michiganders struggle. She’s bought by DTE, Blue Cross, Big Tech, and Big Pharma who pick our pockets. AIPAC, Trump-aligned billionaires, and corporate PACs are spending $50,000,000+ to support her.
THOSE are the issues. We don’t need to be unkind to be honest.

@sfstandard just dropped an early hit piece that’s so sloppy it’s almost impressive. They spent years rightly calling out @SFBART’s waste, fraud, and overspending… but the second someone pushes back on *more* taxes, suddenly they’re in full “Yes on the tax” mode.
Even worse? They doxxed Joffe and Rubin by publishing their ages and cities of residence. That’s not journalism — that’s intimidation. 🫢
If this doesn’t piss people off enough to vote **NO**, I don’t know what will.
They also painted Joffe's group as a “ragtag band of fiscal hawks” and Libertarians. NEWSFLASH: it’s a coalition of finance, law, and analytics professionals from 3 major parties + NPP working together. But sure, keep telling that story — it’ll look great on the 25 pro-tax mailers we’re about to get.
This reads like paid activism, not reporting. Who else is done with this nonsense?

As an American socialist I don't think my views were imported from elsewhere, far from it. There are foreign influences, sure, but I see myself as the descendant of America's radical democrats, the likes of Paine, etc, guided by the belief in the democratic control of resources.

America has two Lefts -- a home-grown one descended from the abolitionist movement, and an imported one amalgamated from various foreign leftist movements (European socialism, third-worldism, etc). The competition between the two in the 2010s led to the radicalization of both.

@kane Expecting someone to absorb a five-figure financial penalty and waste hours at a dealership to prove a point is an unreasonable expectation. Expressing frustration through a $50 plate and a bumper sticker is a pragmatic response to buyer's remorse, not a failure of convictions.
