@_PiggyPie @SangilloJohn Basically when the left hand reaches the left leg you do a quick deceleration with the club and it releases. But the goal is to use the front leg to cause the deceleration and not the arms. It’s creates massive amounts of speed.

Bryson didn’t “learn how to release the club.” He felt the club get thrown. That’s the difference. The club didn’t move because of his hands.
It moved because his body finally sequenced correctly
and then decelerated. That’s what creates the release. Same exact thing in hitting. You don’t release the barrel with your hands.
You don’t “snap” anything. The barrel gets thrown
when the backside works under and the front side wins the collision. That’s the throw. If you have to think about releasing it you already missed it.

A controlled test is like hitting 1,000 putts on the same green, from the same distance, with the same ball—then switching only the putter. Now you actually know if the putter made a difference. (Our test) Self-reported data is like asking 1,000 golfers how they putted last weekend—on different greens, in different conditions, with different skill levels and expectations. That tells you how people feel, not what actually performs better. (I think theirs is self reported) One isolates the equipment. The other mixes in everything else. So if you want to know what actually works, you trust controlled testing. If you want to know what people think works, you look at self-reported data.
