The NT is about giving from the heart, not tithing. 2 Corinthians 9:7 – “Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

Please quote the versus in the NT and it is not Matthew 23:23 / Luke 11:42 – Jesus mentions tithing, but in context, He’s criticizing the Pharisees for focusing on tithes while neglecting justice, mercy, and faithfulness.

Sounds like your what's wrong with having a strong church. The Bible clearly states you owe 10% back and that charity will bless you twice . And all that will come back crushed compounded and multiplied! You can have a strong church or a strong government who takes what they want.

It’s not easy to fire a Texas teacher because they are protected by a Chapter 21 contract in Tx. The board didn’t take the path of least resistance by terminating her contract.
