@WestHam Feels as great as the 29th March 1986, when West Ham United achieved a 4-0 away win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, with both Tony Cottee and Frank McAvennie scoring in the match.

@ExploreCosmos_ And even if just one universe, given the same thermals and chemistry the chances given its size are going to be quite high for some other form of life, somewhere. Alternative chemistry and thermal conditions might also work.

@ExploreCosmos_ Indeed, and if the Universe turned out to be a multiverse in some form of MWI interpretation of quantum physics, existing in what might be defined as an abstract Hilbert Space; then the chance of no other life is practically zero.

Carl Sagan once wrote: "The universe is a pretty big place. If it's just us, it seems like an awful waste of space." We've discovered thousands of exoplanets, yet no sign of life out there. So... what if it really is just us? Would you feel disappointed Relieved? Inspired? Would you stop looking up at the stars, or would you keep searching anyway? (I would keep searching 😌)

@ExploreCosmos_ Voyager 1 must be one of NASA's best sweated assets, still delivering value 48 years later. Impressive the Radiation Hardened Semiconductors and the Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators (RTGs) are still functioning.

NASA’s Voyager spacecraft revealed a remarkable discovery at the edge of our solar system: a vast region of superheated plasma, reaching temperatures between 30,000 and 50,000 Kelvin. This area, encountered by both Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 as they crossed the heliopause, the boundary where the solar wind is stopped by the pressure of interstellar space, is sometimes referred to as a “wall of fire.” Despite these extreme temperatures, the region poses no danger to the spacecraft because of its incredibly low particle density; the high temperatures reflect particle speed, not heat felt as we experience it. Scientists believe this heat is caused by plasma compression and magnetic reconnection, where magnetic fields release large amounts of energy. Voyager’s findings revealed that the boundary of the heliosphere is far more complex and energetic than previously thought. Even decades after their launch, the Voyager probes continue to offer groundbreaking insights into the dynamic and mysterious frontier between our solar system and interstellar space.
