The final two orcas in captivity in France could be destined to perish due to governmental inaction regarding their deserted marine park, activists have warned. Wikie and her son Keijo are the last killer whalesresiding in France and have been left to swim in their desolate, decaying tank after Marineland Antibes permanently shut its doors in January this year. Since then, the heartbroken orcas spend their endless days without any stimulation, longing for the connections they had with their now-deceased family members. They are the last two survivors of their original group of four. Now that the park is closed to the public, their surroundings are deteriorating, with the water in their concrete tank becoming filthier each day and foul-smelling green algae spreading across the site. While a bare-bones staff come in to feed them and offer minimal human interaction, Wikie and Keijo have been largely forgotten by the crowds they once entertained.

This the heartbreaking moment two Orcas are seen lifelessly floating in their abandoned enclosures before they suddenly start to perform when they saw the drone above them. A mother and son left behind at a now defunct marine park in France were caught on a drone floating in the murky water. The Orcas, believed to be 23-year-old Wikie and 11-year-old Keijo, appear to be close to death, according to co-founder of activist group Tidebreakers, Marketa Schusterova. Schusterova says the Orcas in Marineland of Antibes are struggling ever since the park closed down in January because of a new law banning orcas from performing for the public in France. Activists have pleaded with officials and the owners of Marineland to take drastic action to save Wikie and Keijo.

On the second weekend in November, balls of pitch (a sticky, black substance made from coal tar or petroleum) are stuck onto the horns of a Bull and set on fire. The Bull is then released onto the streets and can do nothing but run around in pain, often smashing into walls in an attempt to douse the fire. I know you're worried about the level of illegal migration into this country. Digital ID is another measure to make it tougher to work illegally here, making our borders more secure. Ours is a fairer Britain, built on change, not division.
