Jayson Hall is the man accused of firing an AK47 from his backyard Friday night. Bullets flew with 2 shots hitting customers at the Kroger in Maineville. They are expected to be ok. Hall was just arraigned. Judge Robert Fischer gave him an OR bond with conditions that he'll have to wear a GPS monitor and cannot possess or purchase firearms or ammo. What's still not clear is WHY he was firing the gun in his backyard. @WLWT

Update on the shooting near Kroger in Maineville last night. Here’s the latest from Hamilton Township Police Chief Scott Hughes: As a result of last night’s incident at Kroger, we have arrested 40-year-old 𝐉𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 of Hamilton Township. Hall has been charged with the following offenses: • Assault (Felony 4) - two counts • Negligent Assault (Misdemeanor 3rd Degree) - two counts • Inducing Panic (Felony 4) • Improperly Discharging a Firearm (Felony 2) Hall is currently incarcerated at the Warren County Jail. Thank you to all the assisting agencies that responded to help ensure everyone's safety. Their quick response and support exemplify the teamwork among law enforcement agencies in our region. We also appreciate the patience and cooperation shown by members of the community while officers investigated the incident. @WLWT

@karinjohnson We need clarification. It’s not accidental if they were targeting a house and shooting it at a house and errant shots went into the Kroger. Based on the video from the car dealer, this was no accidental shooting. Who is the suspect? Who was the intended target?

Hamilton Twp Police Chief Scott Hughes says the shooting near Kroger in Maineville appears to be an accident. Someone is in custody. Chief says it appears someone was firing a gun at a home and the bullets traveled into the front of the Kroger store.
