My @JoyceCarolOates collection continues to spawn! 🌟 It's really bothering me that the ones I borrowed from the library aren't here! 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 Although two of them were so freaky (Zombie and Daddy Love), I'm still bookishly scarred. #poweroffiction

@GavinCologne @JoyceCarolOates Gavin, you're absolutely to blame for the obsession. You introduced me to Black Water; the rest is history! 🤸🏽‍♀️Remembering others I've read too, but the ultimate moment was discussing Black Water + what must have inspired it. The power of that message still gives me goosebumps🖤

@reading_glass should I just accept "my turn" at this current time in history? I honestly don't know how I feel about it (like I said, ambivalence) other than the fact that the saying "history repeats itself" pops into my head every time I consider it all (for some reason).

Still reeling from yesterday's event where I was interviewed at BookBag bookshop as part of the #AfricaWritesExeter Festival. What a special moment. ☺️🙃💕 Go follow @bookbagbookshop and @TheRootsResist who put together this brilliant festival along with the Uni of Exeter.

I can't quite articulate how proud I am to have been asked to be a part of this festival. How I wish my dad was here to see. Thank you, #AfricaWritesExeter and @bookbagbookshop for having me. ❤️ #africandiaspora #literaryevent #amwriting

I’m in the mood for spreading some happiness in publishing. I hate reading negative tweets. Which author do you think deserves a boost? Share their name here! They could have written an amazing book, be fantastic humans, or wonderful supportive allies Let’s spread some love

Twitter reader / writer advice please. My new book seems to want 1 character 1st person and 1 character 3rd person. They are equally important in the story. Any examples of novels where this works well? Thank you.
