Today marks 78 years since the Nakba - the catastrophe that never ended. The genocide in Gaza has been live-streamed for over two years and sustained by Western complicity. This is the Nakba in its latest form. The Knesset has now passed a death penalty law that legalises what the Zionist entity has always practised: the judicial murder of Palestinians who resist. From Gaza to the UK, the language of "counter-terrorism" is the mechanism through which Palestinian identity and resistance are criminalised by law and policy - and through which all of us are made complicit. The same terror laws criminalise our opposition to genocide in the UK, from Majid Freeman to the Filton 24. The Nakba lives on. It must be resisted.
