Hi guys. To my friends in the Bitcoin and Kaspa communities this will be my last post. 4 days ago I made the biggest mistake of my life and lost 2.85M KAS and 0.5 BTC on my Tangem wallet. I attempted to remove one card and add a ring in its place. After it deleted card #1 it said to scan #2. Whether I was rushing or didn’t read it correctly I don’t know, but in my mind it was asking me to scan #2 to confirm the deletion of #1. But what I actually did was delete cards 1 and 2. I have one card left and the passcode I have written down for #3 is not working. I’m not sure if the app is somehow glitched or what, but everything I’ve worked towards for the last three years is gone. And I can’t be on this app anymore and interact with all of you guys without breaking down emotionally and mentally. To Yonatan, Michael, Shai, Coder, Ori and everyone else who is building, contributing to, or has contributed to Kaspa in the past, thank you for the educational content you guys have made through talks and workshops on YouTube about cryptography. I have learned so much because of you guys and I’m eternally grateful for it all. To my friends on here….Onion, Vjay, Gonzo, Juan, Wolfie, BTC teacher, Kaspa Facts, and a thousand more of you… I’m going to miss hanging out in spaces with you guys and tweeting funny and unhinged shit all day long. It has truly been the highlight of my life to be here talking with all of you. To all the people building, experimenting, and coding on $KAS keep up the great work and change the world with some killer applications and use cases. To Tangem….I accept responsibility for the mistakes I made deleting my wallets. But it’s simply unconscionable that when I scan card #1 and view the settings for only that card, that there’s no explicit safeguards for when you’re affecting other cards. Maybe there are and I’m just acting irrationally. Either way I hope you guys change your SOP for deleting wallets. It was way too easy for me to delete mine. I’ve been on this app in this space since early 2023 preaching the good word of Kaspa and in the end it didn’t matter and I lost it all. I simply cannot be apart of this community anymore because it hurts too much to even think about how much I’ve lost. The daunting task of trying to accumulate almost 3M coins is simply too much for my heart to bare. Again, thank you to everyone for all the laughs but the spark is gone my life is simply not worth living anymore. -brt

Whether or not Bitcoin was supposed to take the path of layered money is no longer a concern. I think that path was chosen because it was the best option at the time when the choice had to be made. We have an alternative now and its Kaspa. Kaspa primary goal is to bring the idea of peer to peer electronic cash system to life. Where all transactions can remain peer to peer and the incentives are aligned to remain that way. People will realize over time Kaspa is not a "Bitcoin killer" its an entirely new tool that humanity has never had before. Monetary use, Communication use, Verification use, can now all be coordinated with a digital asset that offers internet speeds and real time decentralization on proof of work. The future I see is being able to live within the real world attached to the old fiat standard while still supporting a better system that will take time for humanity to adopt. Study $KAS

I just got back from my Easter trip visiting family, and one of the first things I made time for was listening to Yonatan’s Oxford Union speech. The modern world has connected an enormous number of people and given us unimaginable freedom, but it still lacks a credible way to enforce shared constraints. The result is a crisis of responsibility at every scale of society: from cyberbullying to former superpowers chasing old glory through war, to leaders blaming the weakest members of society for national decline, or even killing their own citizens to preserve power. At the same time, our capacity to inflict harm on one another has become increasingly asymmetric. Small actors can now create disproportionately large disruptions, and conflicts no longer remain local. They send shockwaves through the emerging superorganism we call humanity. The age in which we could dominate one another and still produce a stable world is coming to an end. The only serious path forward is collaboration. People may feel pessimistic about the future, but I think we are approaching an inflection point. Even the old superpowers are beginning to learn this lesson the hard way. The American Dream of "I can make it" is gradually giving way to the realization that individual prosperity depends on collective wellbeing, and that we can build far larger and more meaningful things when we share a common dream. That is why I am excited about DLTs, and Kaspa in particular. Not because I see them as safe havens for hiding wealth from corrupt governments in some dystopian future, or because I want people to get rich by selling to later participants. But because I believe DLTs can offer a superior foundation for large-scale human coordination: one that is more neutral and reliable than traditional models based on force and mutual deterrence. In that world, wealth is not the goal in itself, but a byproduct of coordinating around shared missions, empowering people to contribute, and aligning incentives toward common outcomes. The future is not about building better products. It is about building better protocols: systems that allow human beings to coordinate meaningfully at larger scales than ever before. For the first time in human history, we have the tools to build institutions that are not bound to territory, yet can still provide structural coherence without having to fight wars to establish their legitimacy. What we need now is a group of people bold enough to take that mission seriously.
