We are saddened to hear of the death of Sir Andrew Davis. We were honoured to perform & record with him over his five-decade career, including most recently Wagner’s Götterdämmerung, Vaughan Williams’ Sinfonia Antartica & Elgar’s Enigma Variations. He will be greatly missed.
This week, we celebrate our Principal Flute Katherine Bryan’s 20th anniversary with the RSNO! Since she joined our Flute Section has remained the same, with Helen Brew as Associate Principal & Janet Richardson as Principal Piccolo. Congratulations to all!
