@ML_BBN @KyleTuckerCBB That’s def a fair point. Ligament/tendon healing is a longer timeframe for sure. I would think more along the 6 month timeframe, which would be more reasonable if so. But longer, I agree, makes more sense to sideline him from a physical healing and recovery standpoint.

@katiefil23 @KyleTuckerCBB What’s an appropriate time? I seen it was some ligament surgery… bc I would thinking 9 months, which would have him set to return in February… maybe better off not risking it but I could be way off

@ML_BBN @KyleTuckerCBB As a PT, I hear that, but it’s a full 18 months between now and the start of 2027 season. That’s a long time for someone to have surgery (assuming that’s the route), do rehab, practice, and not play. He might be making the NIL bank so it won’t matter, but just an observation.

@KyleTuckerCBB Feels like that’s the best way to play it safe… instead of trying to rush back and risk further injury and waste a year, just shut it down and come back in 2027 fully healthy

@KyleTuckerCBB Haven’t watched a min of the game, but checked the box score. Figured if he’s played 10 min and only had 1 shot attempt, he’s probably being affected by the injury. Which stinks.

Michigan looks just fine regardless, but Yax looks pretty stiff in that injured leg to me. Not exactly darting around out there.

@BKennedyTV This list made me LOL. Totally agree! I screamed, more like squealed, when he made that shot. Amazing comeback! I do not like UConn; however, anyone but Duke.

@DerwinLGray Shared this today, too! What a powerful message. The time is now. I’m so thankful, like Pete, to be just one person on this Earth to be saved, by grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ. Amen!

'Pistol Pete' Maravich sharing his testimony of faith in Jesus Christ in 1987 less than one year before his death at the age of 40: "I want all of you to know this tonight about Peter Maravich. You may never have heard of me. It makes no difference. I'm just one person on this earth saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. I want you to know this, that the change that came into my life was Jesus Christ. It was not winning. I won all my life. I won every trophy, award, everything you can think of, but every time I won something, I wanted something more. I had to win again. It wasn't money, because money'll buy you everything but happiness. It'll pay your fare at every place but Heaven. Material things—I've driven everything some of you strive for from Rolls Royces to BMWs to Mercedes to Porsches. It wasn't religion because in the name of religion, Jesus Christ was placed upon that cross. And the purest thing about Christianity is the fact that it's your choice. You can't work. You can't earn. I knew that, and I understood it now. I want you to know this. The last thing I'd like to say is this, next week I'll be inducted into the Hall of Fame. I'll get that big ring. In fact, it's a bigger ring than I would have got for the championship, but I'll tell you something about all the awards. They all pale to the glory of Christ and what He's done in my life. It's amazing what He has done in my life. I wouldn't trade my position in Christ for a thousand NBA championships or a thousand Hall of Fame rings or for a hundred billion dollars. There's nothing like the joy of Jesus Christ in your life."

I don’t follow women’s basketball much throughout the season outside of @KentuckyWBB but Hidalgo for Notre Dame was 3 assists away from a quadruple double. Unreal performance!

Of course, no “tampering,” no “poaching”…just coincidence LSU fired its coach and hired NC State’s within minutes. The USF coach warned other programs to “stay away from my players.” Then, HE was gone…so, nobody had to stay away from HIM. The double standard is laughable. Let’s stop complaining about player choice when coaches leave at the first chance for a better situation for themselves.

I think you can get swept up in the excitement of March — especially after a moment like that in Friday — but you eventually have to realize you are who are. A team who struggles to score, has lapses offensively, and has no identity. You’re not magically changing that in March.

@JackPilgrimKSR Except then we do, and Jasper (poor guy) comes in, fouls, turns it over, then takes a 3 early in the shot clock. He’s just not ready. I think he can/will be eventually, this just isn’t the time.

@hjluks It is not an exaggeration to say 85% (or more) of our patients would benefit from/need some form of physical or occupational therapy. For every patient that may need an operation I see 5 that don’t. Send. Them. To. PT.

@wildcatnews @MarchMadnessMBB It hasn’t been the same since before COVID. Cal’s bad, bad losses. Last year we made it to the Sweet 16, which was an awesome pleasantry after previous years. But I remember the days of not being nervpus until the Elite 8. No more, unfortunately.

This narrative is incorrect, IMO. He got stale in his last few years at Kentucky and was not doing a good job. He needed a wake-up call and a fresh start. Status quo was not an option for either side. It was a good and necessary move for him.
Rock Chalk Blog@RockChalkBlog

How awesome is John Calipari? Kentucky running him out of town when they were never going to get an upgrade was such a mistake. Wonder if they wish they had him back. They can tell you no all they want, but those are two programs going in opposite directions.
