Great to see Government commitment to diagnosing and treating cancer quicker, as part of a 10 year cancer strategy.
But, without extra staff to tackle backlogs and demand for this care, it will be like "building sandcastles while the tide comes in."

As the pandemic continues, we're still not seeing the number of people diagnosed with cancer that we'd expect. This is incredibly worrying. We estimate there are almost 50k people in the UK with cancer who have not yet been diagnosed because of the disruption caused by Covid19
