Do you have a favorite book-to-movie adaptation?

@jk_rowling @adammcarter And when I was seven I memorised a Golden book (including page breaks) because I was nervous about doing the weekly reading out loud to one of the volunteer parents.

Nope, I'm proud to say all my passwords are in my head. True story: when I got a national insurance card in the 80s the bloke said very seriously 'don't lose this, for god's sake, that'll cause you serious trouble.' And I thought, 'Well, I'm obviously going to lose that, probably before I leave this very room, so I need to learn my NI number off by heart right now,' which I did, and I can still recite it at a moment's notice.

God, no. I won't even let my eldest daughter (who's a tech genius) sort out my phone, the sight of which drives her completely mad, though I'm not sure why - maybe because I never update any apps. Or it could be the 13,000 unanswered emails.

@jk_rowling @adammcarter When I was in high school we had essay tests. We were allowed to prepare the essay before & take in 80 prompt words. I’d memorise the entire 1000+ word essay (including references) & regurgitate it during the exam.
