#FaroeIslands 156 long-finned pilot whales were slaughtered in Suðuroy last night. After a terrifying chase, they all witnessed their family members being brutally butchered in front of them, before dying themselves. This must stop. (📷 Andrija ILIC from previous grind)

Have wanted to do the Sheffield Megatron urban caving tour for years.
A fantastic experience, the best bit of which was standing under platform 5A at Sheffield Railway Station.
A platform I stood on every day for years while commuting and never knew this was underneath..

Closing 100s of ticket offices on the back of a slapdash consultation that’s got only 15 days left to run is frankly appalling.
Even worse, it’s not even accessible to many of the people who will be most affected.👇🏻

Sadly we have to report that there has been another sickening massacre of pilot whales in the Faroe Islands.
80-100 of these gentle dolphins were butchered today in the 6th Faroe grindadráp (hunt) of 2023. This takes the total cetaceans slaughtered in the archipelago this year to roughly 650.
We've been calling for @Tinganes to be excluded from the @IslandGamesAsso which started yesterday in @Guernsey_2023, UK. The international community must take a stand against this unacceptable torture of EU/UK protected animals.
