Posting late but here it goes… GSOT has now come to an end. It doesn’t feel real. 𝟐𝟐 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬—that’s how long this series played a part in our hearts & our routines. To have your favourite series end suddenly, it’s a hard pill to swallow. We can always rewatch, but it’s still different knowing there’s a new episode to look forward to. All books are curated in chapters, & there’s that 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 which closes everything. As sad as that is, it doesn’t feel too heavy knowing the chapter ended well; ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑦 𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔. The best thing about the gsot adaptation is that it lingers on you. It’s the connections we’ve made w/ the characters & the story that makes us want to hold onto them longer. The anticipation & excitement every week for the release of a new episode, that was a thrill we all went through & experienced together. Hence, it almost feels unwilling to let go. But here we are. We’ve reached the end. 🥹 Thank you to the entire production team behind GSOT. You’ve made this adaptation worthwhile for all the viewers. The cinematography, art, creativity, shots/angles; all the film processing towards it, you went above & beyond.
