@auriea I’m with you but I do admire the way that it is critically engaged with its own making- playing with its own medium. But yeah, a lot is just pretty geometric shapes, I think it’s just especially popular because of the tech audience.

Saturday 25th November, 4-10 PM HERE 9 Cork Street, London Anyone in London, Europe, or even further afield at the end of the month - we would love to see you. HERE is not just our big London pre-Christmas get together (with name tags this time, finally) - it is also one of a number of pushes we will be making to show the art world (and beyond) that the NFT space is no joke. The art world has yet to properly see what’s happening in our space. The PFP stigma prevails, despite the truly world-class talent here. Given there are individual art collectors capable of spending more in a year than the total art NFT volume in 2023, this is a shame. We’re looking to change that. We are proud to be partnering with 8 galleries, who together will be presenting artists from our space alongside digital artists operating in the art world. We take note when a major artist from our space does something. The art world does too. One of many partners we’re very excited to be working with is Haroon Mirza, represented by Lisson Gallery. Next year, we will be collaborating with Lisson and Venice-Biennale-Silver-Lion-winner Haroon on a long form generative project, which we will be announcing during HERE. The works - of course - will be purchasable in fiat by walletless collectors. Haroon is a household name in the art world, and Lisson one of the biggest and most revered galleries in the world. It is our hope the collaboration opens the eyes of collectors, galleries, and (most importantly) the art press to the thrill of generative art. And that people begin to see the digital art space as a valid movement with high quality artists, rather than an alt-crypto thing. We would like to thank the participating galleries and artists for joining our cause here. We’ll be profiling them in the days to come. Please give them a follow. Latecomers will be joined by artists-turned-DJs Eddie Peake, Prem Sahib and George Henry Longly (collectively Anal House Meltdown) who will be bringing the East London vibes to Verse at long last.
