Can you fucking read you illiterate ? 2014 - lowest hits in his career , lowest average. Refused to move down in order. Made documentary about himself and his bullshit retirement tour . Team missed playoffs. Dumb fuck. How about the fat fuck Jeffrey Maier? You realize a similar situation happened in Montreal the next year they banned the kid? Noooo bc it’s the Yankees that fat little turd got a key to the city. Criminal shit. And don’t even get me started on the Mitchell report 2000 team shoving needles in their arms . Joke franchise. Your owner was a 2 time convicted felon .

Sure - happy to clarify. I mean by being a 1-in-a-million athlete who expertly navigates being the biggest star in the biggest city in the world by almost always saying and doing the right thing both on and off the court/field (to such an extent that random ppl on the internet have to resort to knocking him for not attending the funeral of a 99-year old PA announcer when desperately searching for unforgivable sins). …While also being a winner his entire life b/c he is an incredibly rare athlete that, somehow, plays even better when the pressure increases in the postseason.

@dampedspring @grok @brewmarkets I'm not convinced you can just bring in Sharpe to the conversation and say "it's equivalent". Mathematically it's just not the same. Conceptually, it punishes upside vol. But beyond that, I think it's obvious you have to get the three stocks right.

With Kayden McDonald gone, the New York Giants select Tennessee CB Colton Hood at 37. A 5-11, 193-pounder with 4.4 speed, but limited starting experience. There's room for someone to start opposite Paulson Adebo, if he's up for the challenge.

Turns out markets like hidden photonics monopolies? Soitec is up 16% intraday. If you look at the CPO photonics architectural ramp led by $NVDA: It’s parabolic. $SOI is likely a name that people can hold for many years as the substrate monopoly for CPO. And best of yet, there’s the upcoming $NVDA GTC announcement next week. Which would likely signal to institutions to start looking into players they missed like $AXTI, and now $SOI.
Serenity tweet mediaSerenity tweet media
Serenity@aleabitoreddit

Changed my mind about Soitec ( $SLOIF ) and took a sizable position ~43 for CPO exposure. $NVDA GTC next week biggest catalyst pushing photonics and this architecture. ~1.5B euros MC. Trading at 1x book value and ~2x P/S (very depressed valuations) Genuine monopoly over substrates side for CPO (typically very premium valuations for photonics + even extra premium for monopoly status) Algos and analysts might get confused over market share but it’s an actual monopoly over SOI substrates since they give licenses to other players like Shin Etsu for diversification sake eg. $TSM doesn’t like just 1. I don’t think institutions will wait until next year to frontrun these names like Soitec or $TSEM (and most probably haven’t even heard of these names like $AXTI yet) This timing would be buying the likely bottom of the depressed smartphone cycle, while getting full upside of CPO mid-late 2027 + $NVDA GTC catalyst next week. I personally think it’s a 3x from here so I went long.

Harry Potter is extremely overrated as a Quidditch player. Here are the facts: First, he has an equipment advantage. Year 1: he didn't even try out. McGonagall just put him on the team. Then he gets a Nimbus 2000 while everyone else is on discount, budget, school-issued brooms Year 3: Harry's Nimbus 2000 gets destroyed by the Whomping Willow and he gets a Firebolt. Once again, he has an equipment advantage Second, he misses too many games. The best ability is availability. Harry played in 9 Quidditch games at Hogwarts. Gryffindor had 13 games during that time. Harry missed 31% of his team's games Now, let's look at Gryffindor's record with and without Harry Book 1: Harry plays the first two games and misses the last one (infirmary). Team goes 2-1. He's 2-0 in games he plays Book 2: Harry plays one game, last two get canceled. Team is 1-0 Book 3: the ONLY season Harry plays all three games. Gryffindor goes 2-1 Book 4: no Quidditch (Triwizard Tournament) Book 5: Harry plays one game, attacks Malfoy, banned for life. Ginny steps in. Gryffindor wins the cup anyway Book 6: Harry plays first two games, misses the last one. Gryffindor wins the cup anyway Book 7: Harry is hunting Horcruxes with Ron and Hermione. Does not appear that Quidditch was played while school was under control of Death Eaters In the 4 games Harry missed, Gryffindor went 2-2. Not great, but they survived without him It's simple. Harry Potter is a great wizard. But as a Quidditch player? He's wildly overrated. You could argue that there are several people better than Harry at Quidditch: Victor Krum, Charlie Weasley, Cedric Diggory, Ludo Bagman, Ginny Weasley, Eunice Murray, Hamish McFarland Also, it's been decades since Harry Potter played Quidditch. The game is much faster now. There are more analytics. The players are more athletic. Even the coaching is different Let's stop hyping Harry as a Quidditch player

Nobody watches VVIX. That's why it's useful. $VIX is at 26.6. Elevated but not panic. Most traders stop there. VVIX is at 115.9. That's 79th percentile historically. It means options traders expect $VIX itself to make a violent move from here. The tell is $HYG. Credit is only down 0.17% while small caps are getting destroyed at -2.3%. Credit hasn't repriced this growth scare yet. When credit catches up to equities, that's when the real vol event hits. VVIX is already front-running it. Oil up 11% on the day. Gold above $5,100. Equities bleeding. This is a stagflation cocktail and credit is sitting there pretending everything's fine. If you're running normal position sizes right now, VVIX is telling you you're wrong. Has anyone here actually traded a VVIX divergence before?

I don’t appreciate the intentional misleading. “Selling almost half their market cap on the open market” is wrong and misleading. The ATM could end up having a much lower dilution impact than what you’re trying to make people believe, if management uses the ATM intelligently. And you can bet they will, given their background and direct exposure.

3 days later $IREN is having another $6B ATM, selling almost half their marketcap on the open market. Monetizing 3-4GW capacity sounds good, but not if you’re an existing shareholder. Doesn’t look like their economics cover enough of their capex in the way $NBIS does. My bull case, alongside everyone else’s last year: was for $IREN to do colo and fund GPU related expansion with FCF. This materially changed and added execution uncertainty + endless dilution on top.
Serenity tweet media
Serenity@aleabitoreddit

Not a fan of $IREN as a long unless they stop doing GPU offerings and pivot to do pure colo. investors now will be met with endless dilution to monetize their 3GW capacity. That being said it does carry higher potential returns but I personally trust in $NBIS management more. I’ve had a lot of debates in the past between $NBIS vs $IREN but time will tell whose right

“Touché, padre.” It’s wild how #WakeUpDeadMan has sort of restored part of my faith in cinema. Part of it has to do with a few new releases that disappointed me (see my Jay Kelly review) but part of it is I just haven’t felt like this after a new release in awhile. Great movie.

Giants picked 25 when we drafted banks JMS Hyatt. Does that mean we can just blame that class on drafting late? R u not arguing for schoen being better than Veach then? Veach was handed those all pros Schoen was handed DJ, Dex, AT lmao. Let’s reset the GM who picked the Franchsie QB at 25th when 24 teams passed on him then also replace him with one of those AGMs that passed him. (Don’t care for the daboll picked him thing it’s pure speculation, Brown wanted Shedeur not Schoen) What has Joe Schoen done that is a fireable offense without mentioning Neal, Hyatt, Nubin?

Why not consider that their top 3 picks were 32, 46 & 56 because they were winning Super Bowls? Why not bring up that they didn't just fire their coach? For every example people come up of things working out, there's 20 of bad things staying bad. If Veach didn't have Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill & Chris Jones in place, I don't think people would be arguing for him to be kept around. Again, if the argument is "this can get turned around because other things have been turned around" then good for you because its true. Things can turn around and sometimes do. But the Giants have tried this approach and failed a lot and recently. There's way more examples of bad teams staying bad. The Giants just fired their Head Coach. They are not staying the course. Why not reset the GM spot especially when his list of HC interviews in his 1st go around wasn't inspiring? Why risk being off cycle again with your young QB? What has Joe Schoen inspired in people to think he should right the ship?
Terrab@TERRABTRACYJR

@BobbySkinner_ Who would be the Chiefs top 3 drafted players from 2018-21 Surely teams that don’t draft superstars are destined to fail! It’s impossible for teams do draft supplemental talent and be good right
