Hello @PlayStation, could you please address the physical game situation? I'd really like the option to buy both digital and physical discs in the future. Just give us a sign you're at least thinking about it...

@luciacaminous We actually got trailers earlier than in the past. Take2 also said this would be a shorter marketing window so I expect a 90-100 day campaign

Stepping out of character for a second I genuinely think GTA VI's marketing has been really disappointing. In my opinion, we're this close to launch, pre-orders are already live, and we still haven't gotten a proper look at gameplay. That's just so frustrating! The trailers have been incredible, and I'm so grateful for all the information we already got but, I think it's time to let people see what it actually feels like to play. Even a short gameplay demo would go a long way I'm still unbelievably excited for November, but I really hope Rockstar has more to show us soon

@TheGameVerse PS5 an Series X at this rate. I have a feeling that customers will be slow to adopt the new consoles with those forecasted prices and thus we’ll keep seeing games being released on the older generation platforms for years to come. I see no reason to buy the new consoles

@mrpyo1 Same here, Pyo. If Xbox (not the best company either tho) commits to physical releases in the future I will 100% make the shift and cut out PlayStation, and I’ve been a massive fan of PS forever.

More reports why Sony is trying to end physical discs: - They want to cut out the middle man, to make more profit per sale (like remove walmart cuts etc) - Sony thinks the fanbase will not switch platforms, they can do what they please without losing fans - They are convinced by ignoring this issue, they fans will just accept the changes and convert to 100% digital with time. - Sony thinks they are "too big to have commination with fans". Talking to fans has no margin benefit, so they refuse to address fans and will keep doing so I have lost all trust and goodwill with PlayStation, no words what is happening right now. Horrible company
