Pet peeve: using “The SBC” when you mean a few awful leaders. “The SBC” millions of ordinary people in our churches who mostly want to fund missionaries, train pastors, send planters, and help you when a hurricane hits your town. People who don’t get caught up in the drama.

This is the graveyard in Texas that we visited this week. It’s around the corner from the execution chamber. Folks who are executed or die in prison are buried here if their body isn’t claimed by their family. Many of the tombstones don’t even have a name, just a number.

What it means: 10% of Americans control *70%* of national wealth. And the top 1% own more than the bottom 90% COMBINED.
