My brain enjoys finding rhymes (it's a useful skill for improvisers). Here's a string of rhymes that occurred to me today: A choosy boozy bluesy snoozy floozie. A character in "Chicago", maybe? #improv

I'm surrendering to the fact that I've tested positive for Covid after avoiding it for nearly three years. Minor symptoms. Grateful that the holiday season gives me a good excuse to rest.

A recruitment firm emailed me, saying they're looking for candidates with my skills and experience for a job with "a well known chocolate manufacturer", nowhere near where I live, and I'd be "packing, labelling and refilling chocolate bars". Well, I do love chocolate.

@PRisUs Yes, and before I click the "Register" button, I also want to know the time zone, the expected ending time of the event, and the price (with the currency). I don't live in the USA. #customerexperience #PR

When you publicize an event, if someone is interested, the first two things they'll want to know is - what DATE and TIME the event is taking place. Yet I often see this info left out. If they have to click to find out, they may just move on. #PRtips

I was typing the word “storytelling” and accidentally typed “storyyelling”. And it occurred to me that most companies yell. That doesn’t work. #storytelling #marketing

I just heard someone in a video say an unintentional mashup of "extremely" and "exceedingly": "extreedingly". Useful!

Patting self on back. I've voted in many polls by @GrammarTable in which she quizzes us about English #grammar, and I'm happy to say that so far all my answers have been correct.

To change my mind's habit of instantly imagining the worst-case scenario whenever anything goes wrong in my life, I'm installing this new thought: "I see a bright, happy future for myself, and I take action towards it every day."

@AmericanExpress sent me an email about its offer of "fabulous savings" if I use my card to buy some ice cream or bakery products. The blurb includes this: "Saturate your dear ones’ hearts with sweetness". No thank you.

@GrammarTable "Tan" as an adjective definitely sounds odd to my ear. I was born in Scotland and grew up in Australia.

"Tanned" definitely sounds odd to my ear. I virtually never hear it used this way. 😊 Do the "tanned" users know what it sounds like to (at least some) people in the US?

A #copywriting tip. Ask yourself, "What do people want or need to know at each step of their journey with you, from when they first hear about you to when they buy and use your product or service?"

I posted a genuine comment on a celebrity's social media post. And I confess that then, part of me hoped he would see it, love it, and interview me on his podcast. And then I'd be famous and ride in limousines.
